In order to offer the best possible doctoral training on the theme of democracy, Democracy Studies enjoys the generous support from different partners.

The Mercator Foundation Switzerland provides financial support for the Swiss Summer School in Democracy Studies, and the Workshop Democracy in Practice "Democracy goes to School" (2018-2026).

Democracy Studies also currently recognizes the swissuniversities PhD Programmes TP 2 (former 2017-2021 and new 2021-2024), the SUK Doctoral Programs (2013-2021) and ProDoc (2009-2013) for precious additional financial support.
