Venue

The Summer School takes place at the University of Lucerne. Although its roots reach back into the 17th century, it has been established only in the year 2000 as the 12th university of Switzerland.

The Department of Political Science is the youngest of its kind in Switzerland. Its research focuses on contemporary processes of transformation of the nation-state, democracy, and world politics in a globalizing and transnationalizing world from unique vantage points.
