In 2013, the DPDS has established a Swiss inter-university network for doctoral students with a common interest in normative, theoretical and empirical democracy research. It offers young researchers from political science, media and communication science, political philosophy and related social science disciplines a platform for intensive dialogue and the exchange of knowledge in the field of democracy studies (past activities).
The network offers a variety of activities ranging from subject-specific courses to transferable skill workshops which are funded by the SUC Doctoral Programs. Any doctoral student from the University of Zurich or from one of the associated institutions can attend the courses offered within this network for free.
Please note: Unless otherwise stated, courses offered at the University of Zurich have to be booked via the UZH module booking system. Special rules apply ( read more).
