I was born in Bologna (Italy) in 1987. I first studied Communication Science in Bologna (2006-2009), with a Bachelor thesis about media activism. Then - crossed the bridge towards Political Science - I followed a Master in Mass Media and Politics, in Forlì and Bruxelles (2009-2012). My dissertation was titled: April 25th. Memorial and political struggle about the significance of the War of Liberation: interpretive and discoursive strategies of the Italian right.
I followed my approach at the convergence of Communication and Political Science when I started working with prof. Daniele Caramani at the NCCR Democracy project: Populism and national political cultures (2013-2017).
I am writing a dissertation about Populism and Collective Memory in Western Europe.
