Curriculum vitae
Lucas Leemann studied Political Science and Economics at the University of Bern and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. After a short visit at the Center for Applied Statistics at Washington University St. Louis he started his PhD in 2009 at Columbia University. After that he held the position of lecturer for quantitative methods at University College London and after that he was a Reader at the University of Essex. Since January 1st 2018 he is an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) for Comparative Politics at the Department of Political Science at the University of Zürich.
Research Focus
Comparative politics, comparative political economy, historical political economy, representation, direct democracy, data science, survey methodology.
