Jochen Rehmert is a postdoctoral researcher at the chair of Political Institutions and European Politics. He has received his PhD from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, Germany in 2019. Before joining the University of Zürich he was a research and teaching fellow at the Department of Social Sciences at the Humboldt-University Berlin, Germany. His research focuses on candidate selection, legislative and coalition politics, with a strong regional focus on Japan.
