Gabriel Hofmann is a PhD candidate with Prof. Dr Daniel Kübler at the Centre for Democracy Studies Aarau (ZDA) in the SNF project "Direct Democracy Switzerland in the 21st Century (DDS-21)" (https://www.dds21.uzh.ch/de.html) since July 2023. In his dissertation, he focuses on the influence of digital media on opinion formation in direct democratic proposals in Switzerland. As part of his work for the DDS-21 project, he is involved in the preparation of reports and smaller research contributions. He is also a scientific collaborator in the DigiPartIndex project (https://digipartindex.ch/en/) at the ZDA with Prof. Dr. Serdült.
Born in 1995 from Brugg, 2016 to 2019 Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Zurich and Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Between 2020 and 2023, Master's degree at the University of Zurich. In addition, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Policy Analysis & Evaluation under the direction of Prof. Dr. Widmer in various research projects.
