Jelle Koedam is a postdoctoral researcher in Comparative Politics at the University of Zurich. He studied political science at VU University Amsterdam, before receiving his PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2019. His research interests include democratic representation, party competition, regional politics, and the European Union. Specifically, he studies party strategy and voter behavior in the context of multidimensional political contestation. Since 2014, he has also been a primary contributor to the Chapel Hill Expert Survey (CHES).
