Rafał Szymanowski is a visiting researcher at the Chair of International Relations and Political Economy.
He works as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Poland). His research focuses on the intersection between politics and economy, covering topics like economic integration, political economy of economic crises, national ideas in policy making, as well as electric mobility. His work has been financed by, among others: the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the National Science Center, the Excellence Initiative at AMU, the European Commission. In the 2017/2018 academic year, he worked at the University of California, Berkeley as a Fulbright Visiting Researcher. His research stay at the University of Zurich is financed by the grant from the National Science Center in Poland (NCN).
