The NCCR Democracy, the European University Institute and the Department of Political Science at the University of Zurich are co-hosting a symposium on the 'New Frontiers of Automated Content Analysis (ACA) in the Social Sciences' in Zurich, July 1-3, 2015. ACA is one of the key fields of methodological innovation in the social sciences. This symposium will look at the progress made in crucial ACA subfields such as event analysis, trend identification, text classification, text scaling and sentiment detection. While the two keynote speeches are open to the public, a limited number of places are available to auditors interested in participating during the sessions. Please contact the organisers as indicated on the website if you are interested in joining the sessions on July 2nd and 3rd as auditor. Places will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
