Nils Redeker is a PhD Student in the research project „Distributional Conflicts and the Politics of Adjustment in the Eurozone Crisis“ directed by Prof. Stefanie Walter. He holds a BA in Political Science and Economics from the Free University Berlin and a MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics. Amongst others he has worked in the German Bundestag, in a London based NGO and in the personal office of the former president of Germany Horst Köhler. Besides his doctoral studies he is currently working as an external consultant for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). His research interests concentrate in the fields of international and comparative political economy with a special focus on financial crises, tax policies and the political economy of inequality.
