Valentin Lang is a senior researcher at the Chair for International Relations and Political Economy. He is currently finishing his PhD in Economics at the Chair for International and Development Politics at Heidelberg University. His research projects focus on globalization, inequality, and the role of international organizations in global economic governance. Previously, he studied Economics, Political Science, and International Relations at the University of Mannheim (Ph.D. courses), the University of Cambridge (M.Phil.), Heidelberg University (B.A.), and Sciences Po Paris (Erasmus). Outside academia, he worked as a consultant for the IMF and the OECD for projects in the field of development economics.
