Anita Gohdes studied political and administrative sciences at the University of Konstanz (2005-2008) and Human Rights and Research Methods at the University of Essex (2008-2009). From 2011 to 2015 she was research and teaching assistant at the University of Mannheim, where she completed her PhD in 2014. From 2015-2016 she was the ""Empirical Studies of Gender and Political Violence Postdoctoral Research Fellow" at the John F Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Since 2009 she has worked for the San Francisco-based non-profit organization "Human Rights Data Analysis Group". Since August 2016 Assistant Professor of International Relations at the Department of Political Science of the University of Zurich.
