Since July 2017, Palmo Brunner is a PhD candidate and teaching assistant at Prof. Daniel Kübler’s chair «Democracy and Public Governance». Born 1987 in Zurich, 2011-2014 BA studies in Political Science and Modern History, 2014-2016 MA studies in political science with the track «Democracy, Development and International Relations» at the University of Zurich. While studying, she was a tutor at the chair «Political Methodology». Palmo wrote her Master’s thesis on the topic «Protesting electoral façades - Contention as a way toward more electoral quality in non-democratic regimes?». Earlier, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and worked besides her studies as a nurse and instructor.
