Curriculum vitae and research interests
I am a PhD candidate in political science at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Before coming to Zurich, I studied political science and economics at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. My research interests lie at the intersection between international political economy and comparative politics. In my dissertation, I investigate how foreign direct investment affects power maintenance in autocracies. I teach courses on international relations and politics in autocratic regimes as well as supervise students writing their bachelor’s and master’s thesis.
