In June 2018, Daniele Caramani organizes Summer School on "Populism" (Doctoral Programme "Democracy Studies"). 

In Spring 2018, Eri Bertsou will co-organize a workshop at the ECPR Joint Sessions in Cyprus on "The Technocratic Challenge to Democracy".

On September 29, 2017 the chair of Comparative Politics hosts a book workshop on "The Political" with the author Stefano Bartolini (EUI, Florence). The programme can be downloaded here (PDF, 661 KB).

On October 5-6, 2017 Eri Bertsou and Daniele Caramani host a conference on "The Technocratic Challenge to Democracy", bringing together scholars from Europe and North and Latin America. The programme of the conference is available here (PDF, 530 KB)

On June 21, 2016 Daniele Caramani organizes a workshop on "Technocracy, Populism, and Stealth Democracy" (Doctoral Programme "Democracy Studies"). The programme can be downloaded here (PDF, 16 KB).

On September 17-18, 2015 the Chair of Comparative Politics hosted the conference on "The Nationalization of Electoral Politics: Frontiers of Research" bringing together scholars from Europe, Japan and North America to present papers to be gathered in a special issue of the journal Electoral Politics.
